Scientific Glass Torch Classes

Torch Class

If you ever had the desire to make your own sculpted glass beads and small glass sculptures, this is the class for you. This course explores the various glass flameworking techniques used in the creation of glass beads and small glass sculptural designs, such as sea creatures, through the process of torchworking, using millefiori, feathering, powdering, fuming, and overlays. The open flame of a TABLE-TOP TORCH is used to soften colored glass rods that are then sculpted and manipulated. Once you have completed this course, you should have the knowledge to set up your own studio at home. No prior experience needed. Limited to 7 students.

Private Lessons in Glass Lampworking also available through prior arrangement.
