General Policies and Information
- The New Orleans GlassWorks & Printmaking Studio reserves the right to cancel or change the schedule of classes.
- Advance registration and payment is required. Your placement in courses will be held with a deposit of 1/2 of the total amount due; registration is not final until full payment is received. Placement in each class is first-come first-serve, based on receipt of payment.
- The school cannot be held responsible for missed classes. Classes cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances will be rescheduled. There are no make-ups for classes.
- All basic tools and materials are supplied by the school.
- Be AWARE: Many techniques involved in print processes require the use of chemical solvents, such as mineral spirits, denatured alcohol, lacquer thinner, etc. A few processes call for the use of other potentially harmful materials, such as ferric acid, rosin dust, etc. With proper precautions all of these materials may be used with a minimal risk of harm. However, FOR YOUR SAFETY, if you are highly sensitive to these materials, or are pregnant, please notify the faculty.
- The school retains the right to expel any student at the discretion of the President and/or Director. In such cases, no refund will be given.
- We aim to preserve an environment of artistic integrity and innovation by insisting upon respect for all students, faculty, staff, the tools and workspace that you come in contact with.
