PMC Silver Jewerly Making Classes

PMC Pin

What better way to learn fine silver jewelry designing! This small, fine silver workshop is designed as an introduction into the world of fine silver (0.999) jewelry crafting. Using a new, innovative material called PMC, or Precious Metals Clay and PMC+, students will learn how to form the soft silver material in both wet and dry states, working the clay-like silver medium. Tools for stamping, ring making, setting of stones, firing and polishing techniques will be covered while students create a variety of unique, hand-crafted silver creations. Resources for students to continue working on their own pieces at home will be made available at completion of class. The instructor, Mr. Gerald Haessig, has worked with the PMC silver material since 1995, and was the first PMC Guild Certified Instructor in Louisiana. Original PMC creations on display in GlassWorks adjoining, New Orleans ArtWorks Gallery! Commissions also available. Limited to 6 students
