Fine Arts Glass Mosaic Classes

Each student will design and create his or her own glass mosaic wall hanging or table top. Class will focus on initial designs for glass mosaics, introduction to different types of glass tesserae, surfaces suitable for glass mosaic, glass tools used for mosaic, cutting and shaping techniques, lay patterns, fixatives for glass and appropriate applications. Students will take home at least one completed glass mosaic and will be given training and resources to continue making glass mosaics on their own after completion of this three-day course. This is a class that is appropriate for beginners as well as intermediate, experienced level mosaic artists. Limited to 10 students.
